Are you in the mood for something different? For a limited time, we will be featuring the delicious Char Kway Teow on our menu. Char Kway Teow, literally translate to “stir-fried flat noodles”, it is more commonly known as CKT.

Char Kway Teow is extremely popular in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore; it is also becoming more popular globally. The story behind the origins of this dish is very interesting. In its early days, Char Kway Teow was mostly sold by fishermen and farmers who doubled up as food peddlers at night to supplement their income; they used to use leftovers from meals to whip up this dish, hence its multiple ingredient mix.

Our version is everything an authentic Char Kway Teow dish should be- full of great flavour and contrasting textures.  The secret to a mouth-watering Char Kway Teow dish is to have the Wok smoking hot. The high heat prevents the ingredients from sticking to the wok whilst creating a charred Smokey aroma.  We combine our wok fried noodles with smashed egg, baby bok choy and bean sprouts stirred through our sweet soy sauce.
